Junaid A. Razzak, MD, PhD

Professor and Director of Telemedicine, Dept. of Emergency Medicine, Johns Hopkins

Dr. Razzak is the tenured Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.  In his current role, he also directs the Telemedicine Program.  Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. Razzak served as the Professor and founding chairman of the department of Emergency Medicine at the Aga Khan University in Pakistan. 

Dr. Razzak did his residency in emergency medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He holds a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Prehospital Based Surveillance System in Urban areas in LMICs from Karolinska Institute in Sweden.

Dr. Razzak has received numerous awards including Award for Outstanding Contribution by the American College of Emergency Physicians, Globalization and Achievement Award by the Global Emergency Medicine Academy and most recently, Outstanding Mentorship Award by the emergency medicine residents at the Johns Hopkins University.
